The Book of Revelation describes Satan as our great adversary. How do we respond? In this Sunday morning message, Pastor Greg Laurie gives us the key to pinpointing and defeating the devil’s schemes. Listen in and fresh insight to the spiritual battle we all face!
This is the latest message in Revelation: A Book of Promises.
The Bible teaches that in the Last Days, Jerusalem will be the center of End Times events ( Zechariah 12:3).
Jerusalem must be in Jewish hands.
The third Temple must be rebuilt.
Antichrist will help the Jews rebuild their Temple then desecrate it.
“The day of their prophecy” (Revelation 11:6).
The people take the tragic death of these prophets and turn it into a celebration.
The Word of God is sweet to the Christian and bitter to the Non-Christian.
“And his face turned pale with fright. His knees knocked together in fear and his legs gave way beneath him” (Daniel 5:6).
1. The devil knows his days are numbered.
2. The devil does not want you to know that he primarily attacks through accusation.
It’s not the bait that constitutes sin; it’s the bite.
The Holy Spirit seeks to convict or convince us of our sin (John 16:8).
3. They overcame the devil by the blood of the Lamb.
At the cross of Calvary, Jesus dealt a decisive blow against Satan and his minions.
It is through the blood of the Lamb that we can even approach God and find the help we need.
4. They overcame the devil by the word of their testimony.
Every Christian has a testimony.
5. They did not love their lives to the death.
Are you overcoming the devil or are you being overcome by the devil?
Satan doesn’t want you to know that there is forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
