Making Your Marriage a Picture of the Gospel Part 2 – DA and Elicia Horton

It started in the 5th grade, when 10-year-old Elicia passed a friendship ring to 10-year-old D.A. at a church service. D.A. interpreted it as a marriage proposal, freaked out, threw the ring down and ran. Years later when the couple got engaged, Elicia realized that she was still harboring bitterness against D.A. because of that moment. It’s a silly story, but it illustrates a common issue – many couples unknowingly let past hurts steal the joy out of their marriage. This was just one of the issues they had to work out together as a couple.

In this interview, D.A. and Elicia Horton challenge couples to take live out the gospel in their marriage through grace, forgiveness and accountability.
