A common image used for the people of God in the Bible is that we are a “body”–distinct parts that only function when working together. In this week’s conversations with our friend Nicole Unice, we discover how the makeup of our bodies is an expression of our holistic God–intricate parts that work in harmony to make us breathe and think and act. Likewise, Jesus’ greatest commandment is a holistic one, involving our heart (emotions), our mind (thinking), our soul (will), and our strength (energy).
