Heroic Moms Raising Godly Heroes – Lee Nienhuis

Lee Nienhuis, a mom of young kids, was overjoyed watching her 5-year-old sing “I have decided to follow Jesus.” But when he sang the line “No turning back,” Lee was gripped with fear. She realized that following Jesus in this increasingly hostile world may cause her children to face persecution — or even lose their life.

In this one-day Focus on the Family interview with Jim Daly and John Fuller, Lee admits that she doesn’t feel good enough or equipped enough to raise her kids. She explains how God has comforted her heart and shown her all the ways she can raise Jesus followers as a beautifully imperfect mom.
