How God Saved a Military Marriage Part 2 – Chad and Kathy Robichaux

Guests Chad and Kathy Robichaux recount their story of God’s love and redemption. Both from broken homes, they married right out of high school.

Chad is a former Marine in Special Ops, former firefighter, former police officer and former professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter. After eight tours in Afghanistan, he suffered from PTSD, neglected his family and became involved in affairs, all the while operating a martial arts gym.

Chad and Kathy separated and sold their home, but Kathy never gave up on their marriage. Her faith helped her to hold on and her prayers helped her to get her own heart right with God while God was working on Chad. A Christian mentor helped Chad get right with God and to set his priorities straight. Chad was healed of PTSD symptoms and they worked through a year or so of restoration.

Their marriage of 20 years is now stronger than ever. They operate Mighty Oaks, a Christian outreach to soldiers who’ve experienced military trauma and they speak frequently at churches and conferences, helping restore marriages through their inspirational story.

Pastor Skip Heitzig presents a series of reasons why the church, as Christ established it, is so vitally important to the Christian walk. From God's original intent for His church, to the ways in which He uses us today, and the reasons why people attend and leave the church, this series emphasizes the importance of the Church and the need to revere it as divinely established.
