Youth Suicide Related to the COVID-19 Crisis

The effects of the coronavirus crisis has impacted all of our families. With the added stress and emotion, some of our children are experiencing severe depression and anxiety right now. And, unfortunately, some are even considering suicide.

How can we help our children handle the stresses of this crisis in a way that will encourage them and steer them away from suicidal thoughts? Focus on the Family licensed counselor Tim Sanford talks with Carol Cuppy, Content Producer for Focus on the Family’s Parenting and Youth Department about how parents can recognize the signs their child might be feeling suicidal and how they can help them.
