When Mother’s Day hurts, Joannie DeBrito and Jenny Coffey, both licensed marriage and family therapists at Focus on the Family, have some words of hope and encouragement for you. Not everyone celebrates and enjoys this day meant to honor mothers. Some have lost children to death or estrangement, some have also lost their own mothers, some may want to be moms, but can’t have children.
