Marriage Meditation – The Fruit of the Spirit Is Faithfulness

Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” The Lord is faithful. His love never changes or stops, and He always keeps His promises.

How can we reflect the Lord’s faithfulness in marriage? Faithfulness means keeping your wedding vows, of course, but that’s just the start. Faithfulness looks like being consistent in character, actions and speech.

Because faithfulness is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, we need His help to remain loyal and consistently extend grace and love to our spouse.
