Greg Laurie On Cancel Culture

You know, cancel culture is nothing new. Back in the first century, the religious leaders took Peter and John aside and they said, you need to stop preaching in the name of Jesus, you can’t do it anymore. We forbid it, they were trying to cancel them, but Peter and John would not be canceled and we have cancel culture today.

People will say you can’t say that we’ll take you off that social media platform. You can’t do that or we will protest in some way or try to drive you away. And I think we need to understand that the gospel cannot and will not be canceled ever, don’t ever let anyone tell you that you cannot speak in the name of Jesus Christ.

It’s something that we must do because the culture needs to hear it. Because this is the message that changes lives. This is the message that impacted 6,300 people, on the weekend of October 3rd, who were a part of the So Cal harvest event in-person and watching online, this is the message that is resulted in 60,000 people making a professional of Faith watching our weekend worship service harvest at home alone. This year, 60,000 people think about that.

We will not be canceled. We will not back down. We will continue to speak up for the gospel in the name of Jesus Christ.
